Memory and I write this letter in the hope that it will ease some of the concern you may be feeling with regard to your child.  Many times, as parents, we place much of the blame on ourselves and do not allow our children to take appropriate responsibility for their own choices.  As parents, we are far from perfect and have many shortcomings; however, our children need to take accountability for their own actions. Together as a team, both you and your child can rekindle a healthy relationship of love and support.    

Vista Adolescent Treatment Center is dedicated to the service of young men and women struggling with today’s adversities.   Fundamentally, Vista is based on the core values of the family unit.  We believe the family unit to be the most important resource for the youth of today. As the family unit becomes more cohesive and communication skills are applied to the family dynamic, many of societies challenges can be overcome.   

Memory and I prescribe to a unique philosophy regarding today’s youth. We believe therapy is about relationships.  Healthy relationships between your children and our therapists are a fundamental core to the treatment received at Vista RTC . My staff is dedicated and passionate about the care and therapeutic instruction acquired by each child as  they become a member of our Vista Family.  With only 32 beds, my staff and therapists have the opportunity to establish positive rapport with all of the residents.  Each child has the opportunity to explore a close, trusting relationship with our staff, therapists, administration, and the board of directors.  The proximity shared by both staff and residents, allow for a healthy, open, trusting, environment in which your child can develop.  Our therapeutic opportunities are limitless due to our small size and the individual attention the children receive is second to none.  

Memory and I are very proud of our treatment center.  We feel the center provides opportunity for growth and healing among all who attend.  In our 14 years of service, Memory and I have had the privilege of witnessing children and families reclaim what has been lost as a result of their individual adversities.  Each time we witness this special change, we are reminded once again why we began our journey helping families.
